Memphis & Lenglet set for Barça return vs. Athletic Club

The duo have been back in training this week and are ready to return to action

Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez says both Memphis Depay and Clement Lenglet are ready to make their comebacks against Athletic Club at Camp Nou on Sunday.

Xavi says the forward and defender are both training well and will be involved in the squad this weekend "if there is no setback" in Saturday's session.

"Memphis and Lenglet are training normally, 100 percent," the coach said. "If there are no setbacks, they will be in the squad tomorrow.

"Now there's more competition for places, but both of them should be important players. For me, it's important that there is competitiveness within the squad. It's better that there is. From there, performances dictate (selection)."

Memphis first injured his hamstring in December, returning for two games in January before suffering a relapse after the Supercopa loss to Real Madrid on Jan. 12.

Lenglet, meanwhile, has not featured since coming on as a late substitute at the end of January in the 1-0 win over Alaves.
