There will be a meeting over Ansu Fati's future at Barca

Barça are still trying to find an outlet in the attacking area, considering that, despite the departure of Ousmane Dembélé, there is a certain overbooking. And the Blaugrana's first choice has always been Ansu Fati, although the player has been reluctant to leave since the start of the summer and there is nothing to suggest he will change his mind. The player's agent, Jorge Mendes, is due to travel to Barcelona later this week when the Joao Cancelo deal is finalised and there will be a summit meeting to discuss the player's future at which a decision should be made.

Ansu has an open door to leave and his entourage knows it. Barça are open to both a loan and a transfer, but so far no progress has been made. In England there are several clubs that have asked about the rumours surrounding the player but nothing has been finalised and time is running out. What is clear to the Blaugrana club is that nothing will be forced on anyone, so if Ansu decides to stay he will have a guaranteed place in the squad. Jorge Mendes will not force the machine either since at the beginning of the summer he had sold him to Wolverhampton and that operation created discomfort in the footballer. 

The Barca youth product has already understood he will not be a starter this season. He sensed it from the beginning of the pre-season, but in the two league games that have been played, his role has not changed with respect to the previous season. And perhaps it has worsened because Xavi is clearly betting on Lamine Yamal before him. In the event that Ansu closes the door, as Barça believe he will, the club will activate other exit options and the one who is most likely to leave the club is Abde, with important offers under his arm. Ferrán Torres will certainly not leave.
