Mazinho denies there's been contact between Rafinha and Juventus

The Barça midfielder has been linked with a move to the Italian champions

"His only objective is to play well for Barça ahead of next summer's World Cup"

Rafinha's father Mazinho has denied there any contact with Juventus regarding a potential summer transfer. 

Mazinho made the comments in an interview with TuttoMercatoWeb during an event organised by WyScout at the Juventus Stadium. 

Just last week Mazinho had been forced to deny that Rafinha was considering leaving Barcelona at the end of the season. 

He sayd he is satsified with his son's current situation: "He is an important player and playing at an important club like Barça, that's all I can say."

Rafinha'S SITUATION  

However, Rafinha's future is uncertain. Recovering from a serious injury, the Hispanic-Brazilian does not know if the manager who comes in will count on him as much as Luis Enrique has. 

But Mazinho is confident that Rafinha will find his place in the team again next season: "His objective is always to play more, to be at his best ahead of the World Cup. 

"Juventus are a great club, there's no doubt about that, the biggest in Italy, but at the moment we've not had any contact with them."
