Leo Messi has spent a few days in Barcelona resting before rejoining PSG. His return to 'his' city has allowed the Argentine player to meet up with friends and former teammates.
He was having dinner at Albert Adrià's Enigma restaurant, together with Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, Pepe Costa and their respective partners. Precisely, the Barça captain is waiting to know what happens with Messi before making a decision about his future.
Reports of Leo's return to Barcelona have been constant in recent days but director of football, Mateu Alemany, did not want to say anything before the game against Rayo Vallecano. "He likes to come here and he was in Barcelona for a few days as he usually does, but there was no contact with him."
The priority for the club's sporting directors is now to focus on mathematically winning the league title before thinking about reinforcements for next season.
That does not mean that they are not working on Messi's return. They have made him an economic proposal and are talking to La Liga to try to fit him into the Fair-Play system.
