Martin Braithwaite: I waited a long time for this moment
The former Leganes striker was thrilled to get off the mark as Barca tonked Mallorca
Martin Braithwaite nabbed his first Barcelona goal as the Catalans won 4-0 at Mallorca on Saturday. He got the second, finishing after Leo Messi nodded the ball into his path.
"As a forward you always want to score and I've waited a long time for this moment," said Braithwaite. "To start off winning was very important because it allows you to pick up confidence."
On Tuesday Barcelona face Leganes at Camp Nou, his former side. "It will be very special to play against Leganes," said Braithwaite. "Playing without fans is strange but that's how things are right now."
