Marlon Santos: It is a great privilege to be able to continue playing for Barcelona

Brazilian defender Marlon Santos has told Barça TV that it's "a great privilege" to continue with the Catalan club after his loan move was made permanent on Wednesday.
Barça confirmed in a short statement that the centre-back has signed a deal until 2020 and Marlon said that his "whole family are really happy with the renewal."
He added: “It’s a great privilege to remain at Barça. I see my contract extension as very positive and it’s important for me and for my family.
”I hope to win titles and to be able to take advantage of the opportunities that come my way fulfill my objectives. I am really happy."

Marlon's season is not over yet, with Barça B still in with a chance of promotion to the second tier of Spanish football if they can win their playoff against Racing Santander.
“We had an excellent season and now we have to 'kill' it off in the best way possible,” he said of Gerard Lopez's side campaign “Let’s hope we can win against Racing away and also at the Miniestadi and we can gain promotion. We all want it and we want to go for it.”
