The Chelsea left-back would love to come back to his homeland

Marcos Alonso has become one of the names of the transfer window. He has a year left on his Chelsea deal but is sure he wants to start a new adventure in Spain. He has shone in Italy and England and now it’s time to go home.

Barcelona are one of the teams that want him. They would like a left back and Alonso fits the profile. When asked about going back to Spain, he said: “I have a year on my contract.

“I’ve said various times I would like it but in the end it’s not all up to me. It’s clear that the desire to play in Spain one day is there.”

Along with Jose Gaya, the Chelsea defender is one of the team’s top targets for that spot.
