Marco Silva: I want to sign Lucas Digne
The Everton coach would like to bring in Barcelona's reserve left-back
Everton coach Marco Silva acknowledged his interest in signing Barcelona defender Lucas Digne. The French left-back is a target for the Merseysiders after failing to establish himself at Barcelona.
"Digne is not at our club, I know it won't be easy but we will try," said Silva.
“At the moment we have two possibilities, I will not deny it,” Silva told Sport TV, the Portuguese channel. “Digne is not at the club he is at by luck."
Everton's coach is leaving the deal to the club's director of football Marcel Brands, whom Barcelona are working with over first Digne and then potentially Yerry Mina.
