The French winger can depart for cut price next summer if a club wants him and he decides to go

Ousmane Dembele’s future is far from certain despite the fact he’s got a year left on his Barcelona deal. Marca revealed on Monday that he can leave for half price in June and July 2023.

Dembele signed this season for Barcelona for the second time after his contract ran out on June 30, 2022. He reached a new deal with the club on July 14, until June 2024.

The release clause he had went from 400m euros down to 100m. On Monday, Marca revealed that if in June and July 2023, a club bids 50m euros, they can sign the player if he wants to go.

He’s been the fourth most used player this season in terms of minutes, behind only Ter Stegen, Lewandowski and Pedri.

He’s scored five goals and given seven assists this season.

In total he’s played 170 times for Barcelona, scoring 37 goals and winning five titles - two leagues, two cups and one Super Cup.
