Marca: Barça want to bring back Onana if Cillessen leaves
The Ajax goalkeeper left La Masia when he was younger for first team football
Andre Onana would be a target for Barcelona next season if Jasper Cillessen leaves. That's what newspaper Marca have reported on Tuesday. The Ajax goalkeeper could leave the Dutch club along with a number of other youngsters.
Cillessen, meanwhile, is living in Marc-Andre ter Stegen's shadow at Camp Nou, despite his performances whenever he's played for Barça.
The Dutch goalkeeper hopes that next summer he will find a club where he can play regularly. He won't be short of options, while Barça will have no choice but to thank him for his services and let him leave.
It's for that reason, according to Marca, the club are looking back into re-signing Onana, who left the club for Ajax when he was a youngster.
The Cameroon international joined Barça in 2010, progressing to the U19 team, where he won the UEFA Youth League. When hie contract expired, though, he agreed to move to Ajax.
