Marc-Andre ter Stegen makes a personal confession about his future...

Marc-André Ter Stegen,the FC Barcelona, goalkeeper revealed in a Facebook Live Q&A on Thursday that he and his girlfriend Daniela Jehle plan to get married in the summer.

The German stopper combined questions about sporting matters with other, more personal matters. On the Barça dressing room, he said "the atmosphere is really good. All the players we have in the dressing room are good people. Clearly you have some friends who are closer to you. For example, Ivan Rakitic, or those I work with every day in goal, like Jordi Masip and Jasper Cillessen." 

Ter Stegen also assured that he was not surprised with how humble and down to earth the players were when he first joined the Catalan club form Borussia Monchengladbach over two years ago. Another objective he reveals is to learn Catalan as he always knows bits of English, Spanish, Italian and, of course, German. 

And what about leaving Barça one day? "It’s difficult to get better than Barcelona. I think for me Barcelona is the best team in the world. I think we have the possibility to win important trophies every year. I think there’s no other team that’s really interesting for me, I just want to stay with Barça. Here is where I want to be for a long time."

It was when he was asked about his short-term dreams that he revealed he's due to be wed: "In terms of football, to grow as an individual and as a team to fight for all the titles; we can take big strides forward in La Liga. In my private life, my girlfriend (Daniela Jehle) and I are going to get married in the summer. It's something really special and private, but I would like to say it because I love here a lot and it's something very important for us."
