Ansu would be an alternative if they fail to land Jadon Sancho this summer

The transfer window is entering a decisive phase and in the Premier League teams are starting to make movements ahead of next season.

Barcelona have several negotiations open for players that they want to sell and, if they wanted, they could sell Ansu Fati tomorrow. Manchester United have asked about the teenager again but he is not for sale and he will have the clause in his contract triggered to make him a first-team player and increase his release clause.

United want to sign a wide forward this summer. Jadon Sancho is their top target, for whom Borussia Dortmund are asking for 120 million euros. The England star has been promised to be made one of the best players in the world at United but the two clubs have not reached an agreement.

Jorge Mendes, the super-agent who works closely with United, proposed Ansu in the past. At the beginning of the summer, he asked Barça how much and made a suggestion of 100 million euros, which would now be more.

However, Barça have been clear from the start: they don't want to sell Ansu. In fact, they plan to increase his clause to 400 million euros from 170 million euros by making him a first-team player officially.

Ansu is happy at Barça and knows the clubs plans for him. It's true he wanted minutes against Napoli, but he also understands Quique Setien has bet on him a lot. Ansu would only leave if he forced it, something which he will not be doing.
