The Dutchman is one of the few players Barcelona can sell to make money this summer
Frenkie de Jong could leave Barcelona this summer. The club need to make money and De Jong is one of the players best suited to sell to do that. Man United are closing in on him with new coach Erik ten Hag keen on reuniting with his then-Ajax pupil.
Man United have told Barcelona they would pay 60 million euros plus 20 million more in variables for the midfielder.
It’s a succulent offer but Barcelona want at least 80 million fixed, before variables. They don’t want to sell him for too low a price.
Bernardo Silva is the player Barcelona want to replace De Jong with but Valencia’s Carlos Soler is another who is on the table.
