Aguero spoke to Ibai in a stream on Thursday evening, following Pique's footsteps

Ibai Llanos is becoming an expert at interviewing footballers. After landing Gerard Pique, on thursday it was Sergio Aguero's turn to appear on 'Charlando Tranquilamente', talking about his past, his future and also referring to Lionel Messi.

Aguero revealed that Messi connects to his live streams and “at the beginning, he once told me 'I want to write to you and I can't.' He was joking, but I told him that 'everyone is writing in here, write to me on the phone.' "Kun said, before adding that "of course is Messi is normal," when Ibai asked him.

Kun also remembered his early years in European football. "Honestly, I didn't want to leave Argentina, I was very young, 18, and I don't know, I'm a family man, I knew that, if I left, I would lose my connection with my family. But in the end, my teammates at Independiente told me I had to go, that it was the best thing for me, to go to Spain... obviously, we all have to make big decisions but at that moment I didn't want to leave."

He continued: "When I signed the contract with Atletico Madrid, my mother started crying. In two months, I went from watching the big European games in Argentina to seeing Ronaldo in my first derby against Real Madrid."

Aguero also reflected on his departure from Atletico, with one thing that he regrets about how his move to Manchester City was handled.

"There were other offers, but I was at the 2011 Copa America," he said. "I made the decision after the Copa and I had to return to Atletico and train and I had said I wanted to leave. I couldn't, not at all. But to say publicly that I wanted to leave the club was an error. The Calderon was incredible, a tremendous ground."

In terms of the present, on a personal level, Aguero said this season "has not been good. I injured my knee against Burnley when I won a penalty and I tried to take it with the meniscus broken. It was a little in the style of Martin Palermo, who took a penalty with his ligament broken against Colón de Santa Fe."

On his coach, Pep Guardiola, the striker said that he's "very meticulous, the level of football's improved a lot with him and a lot of teams in the Premier League have wanted to copy his style, playing out from the back, which is really good."

As for the future, with his contract up soon, he added: "I am out of contract at the end of the season and I still don't know what to do. The first thing I want to do is play, so we will see when the season ends."
