Man City offer Bernardo Silva bumper deal amid Barça, PSG, Saudi interest

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola does not want to lose Bernardo Silva for any reason, a fundamental part of his scheme.

What the player wants is another matter. The Portuguese international dreams of playing for Barcelona, but that dream is unlikely due to the financial situation at the Catalan club. Of course, the transfer window is very long and anything can still happen.

Barça are not the only team that would like to have a player of Silva's stature. Paris Saint-Germain are keeping a close eye on his future and he could be the perfect replacement for Kylian Mbappé if he ends up leaving for Real Madrid.

Al-Hilal are also keeping an eye on him. The Saudi Arabian club could offer the player up to €30 million per season.

Therefore, according to The Mirror, Man City would be willing to offer the Portuguese an improved deal whereby he would receive €18m per season. The English club would not reach the figure offered in Saudi Arabia, but the proposal is also ostentatious.

The player's contract expires in 2025 and he will not leave City for less than €80m. For the moment, Silva is still thinking about what to do. The midfielder is one of the most outstanding players in the current squad and played a key role in City's treble.
