Man City attacker Raheem Sterling is offered to Barcelona once again

The England international has previously been close to a move to Camp Nou

He is keen to leave City this summer in search of a bigger role elsewhere

Raheem Sterling wants to leave Manchester City this summer and Barcelona could be one of his options again, as was the case in the summer of 2021. The England attacker is looking for a bigger role, something he has lost under Pep Guardiola in recent seasons.

Man City are open to a transfer keeping in mind Sterling's contract expires in 2023, but they will not give him away to the clubs he has offered himself to. One of them is Barça, but his agents have also been in touch with other teams like Real Madrid, Chelsea and Arsenal.

Per various reports in England, the most interested so far is Chelsea, who could make a first offer once Romelu Lukaku has returned to Inter Milan on loan. The offer would be around €40m, while City hope to make €50m for the 27-year-old who they paid €63m for seven years ago.

FOR THE WING

Sterling has been linked with Barça several times. Last summer, the Blaugrana tried to sign him on loan, he was open to a move for Camp Nou, but the operation didn't go through.

He was also rumoured to be a target in January, but Barça signed Ferran Torres.

This time, he is not a priority for Barça. He would be a good addition to the right wing, but the Leeds attacker Raphinha is preferred, while it's still difficult to know what will happen with Ousmane Dembele.
