INCIDENCIAS
Partido amistoso con motivo del centenario del nacimiento de Nelson Mandela disputado en el FNB Stadium de Johannesburgo disputado ante 87.000 espectadores.
Ernesto Valverde took a squad of 23 players and everyone played a part, although Lionel Messi only came on for the final 15 minutes.
Dembele opened the scoring after just three minutes, picking up a loose ball, selling a dummy and whipping the ball into the top corner from 18 yards.
Barca doubled their lead 15 minutes later when Denis Suarez fed Luis Suarez, the Uruguayan firing home from close range.
There was almost a second goal for Dembele, but his shot was cleared off the line after he had been fed by Denis.
Sundowns had chances, too, with Percy Tau and captain Hlompho Kekana both bringing saves out of Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
Valverde made 11 changes at half-time and two of the substitutes combined for Barca's third goal when Paco Alcacer cleverly teed up Andre Gomes.
Sibusiso Vilakazi pulled one back for the South African champions moments later, just after Messi had been brought on, much to the delight of the supporters at the game.
