Malcom is travelling to Russia to undergo a medical with Zenit
Once he's passed those tests, the Brazilian will put pen to paper on his new contract
Malcom is currently on his way to Russia so he can undergo a medical and later sign his contract with Zenit Saint Petersburg. According to 'Telefoot', the winger quickly boarded a plane after Barça announced he was given permission to not attend this morning's training session.
The two sides have agreed on a fee (€40m upfront, €5m in bonuses) and how it will be paid. There is also no issue between the player and Zenit as the winger will now earn €6m per season.
Once everything has been sorted out, an official announcement could come as soon as this afternoon or early tomorrow morning.
Zenit, like Barça, are one of the top speeds for the Champions League draw so both sides would need to progress if Malcom were to come up against his soon to be former side.
