Malcom: "I'm going to have lots of success at Barça"
The Brazilian winger will continue to fight for his place in the team and believes he can achieve his dreams at the Camp Nou
Malcom spoke honestly and clearly following his perfomance against Inter Milan in the Champions League. He was interviewed by Catalunya Radio's programme 'Tot Costa' and reiterated, on various occasions, that he won't stop fighting for a place in Ernesto Valverde's first team. "Barça is the best team in the world and it isn't easy. I only need to keep working hard," admitted the Brazilian.
"I don't know if the goal will help me get more minutes but I'll keep fighting to find my space in the team. It's complicated to start in this attack because there are so many great players here. It's a very good group, so it's difficult. You have to wait, be patient. I believe that fighting for this (opportunity) will bring me a lot of success at Barça," added Malcom.
The Brazilian admitted that he hadn't spoke with Valverde following the match but that he has been told there are areas in which he needs to improve, especially in defence. "I know what I have to do. I'm looking at improving certain aspects of my game to get more minutes on the pitch. In the end the coach decides, but I'll keep fighting to find my place."

For Malcom, the goal against Inter is something he'll never forget. "I've always had the dream, since I was young, of playing here. It's emotional to make your debut in the Champions League and score goals. This has truly begun my story at this club."
The winger also admitted he's saved the shirt he wore and that all of his teammates congratulated him after the match. "This is just the beginning. For me the most important part is the group. We are very united. It was incredible how happy they were for me. In this team the happiness of one is shared by everyone."
