Mahrez to Barça? The rumours surrounding potential Barça recruits are showing no signs of stopping and one of the latest rumours suggests that the Leicester City forward Riyadh Mahrez is on his way to Barça.
As soon as the Algerian Football Federation had announced that it had given permission to the player to leave the squad to finalise his future, rumours and speculation linking him to Barça started to appear.
The newspaper AS reported that the club had been back in contact with the player, but that he also had offers from Arsenal and Chelsea. As if that wasn’t enough, French journalist Sara Menai, from SFR Sport, claimed that Mahrez had landed at Barcelona airport.

However, sources at Barcelona have told SPORT that Mahrez is not one of the options on the table and they are not trying to sign the player.
