Luis Suarez's rant about Luis Enrique's decision and timing

Suarez said: "It was a big surprise. For me the moment chosen to make it official was not good."

At his age, with everything he's gone through and what he represents, Luis Suarez should care little about what people think of him. And for that, the former Galician Barcelona star speaks his mind.

He has a section on the programme La Graderia on SER Catalunya, called 'Consulting the Ballon d'Or', which he won in 1960. On it he spoke about the decision of Luis Enrique to leave Barcelona in the summer.

Suarez said: "It was a big surprise. For me the moment chosen to make it official was not good. And I don't know if it's good for the coach to say it after a game either. If he has taken the decision, because I suppose before he has told the club, it's more correct that he club is the one who communicates it. What he said I don't think isa good thing. I don't think it was right, or a good moment.

"There are still some games to play in La Liga and they are fighting for the title, they have a Copa del Rey final in front of them and the Champions League knock-out tie. When a coach who has to take important decisions in the two or three months left says he will not continue next season, what happens when he has to get angry with a player, a reprimand, a hug, how can he do it if he no longer has reason to be there? They are two parrallel things and they have to keep working to reach important goals. It's not good this, it's not good."
