Luis Suarez will sign his contract renewal on Friday according to journalist Gerard Romero. The Uruguayan forward's new deal keeps him at the club until June 2021, with one additional season optional.
Suarez was expected to sign his new deal before Christmas, and he will, before the Espanyol derby clash too, after which he will head home to Uruguay to spend the festive period with his family.
He will sign his contract after training is finished at the Ciutat Esportiva de Sant Joan Despi. A great Christmas present for him and for the club too.
