Luis Suarez pens goodbye letter to Barça's Andres Iniesta
The Uruguayan striker thanked Iniesta for "everything"
Luis Suarez has published his own personal goodbye to Andres Iniesta on social media after the Barcelona captain waved goodbye to Camp Nou after Sunday's win over Real Sociedad.
"Andriu, my friend. Four years ago when I arrived in Barcelona, and even though before arriving we already had a relationship, I could tell from the first day that you're a different person," Suarez wrote.
"It wasn't an easy moment for me, the opposite, but from the start you showed me warmth and confidence. You supported me at all times.
"I'm not going to tell you now about the great footballer that you are... you have defended this club with passion, commitment and honour since you arrived as a 12-year-old- You're an example for everyone.
"Brother, I wish you the best in the next chapter of your career. I am convinced it will be successful, speaking about you it couldn't be any other way. You're a great. Thanks for everything, captain, we will miss you a lot."
