Luis Suarez: Only Lionel Messi can do these things
The Uruguayan couldn't believe the performance produced by Messi against Espanyol
Luis Suarez said to Movistar after the game that Messi is like a "Playstation" player after he took Espanyol apart on Sunday.
Messi ran the Catalan derby, creating two goals with amazing runs and then scoring his own goal in stoppage time to seal a 4-1 win.
"Rather than me get the second goal, I would have preferred Messi to finish off that great move," Suarez said, who benefitted from the play by scoring a tap in, his second of the night.
"It’s a Playstation move, he’s such a unique player."
Suarez signed a new deal with Barça until 2021 in the week and Messi is expected to follow suit in the 2017.
The Uruguayan hopes his team-mate stays, but didn't offer up any inside information.
"I hope he stays at the club," the 29-year-old added. "He’s the one who has to take the decision. He knows where is best for him."
