Luis Suarez now leads the European Golden Boot rankings
After striking against Real Betis, Luis Suarez once again leads the European Golden Boot standings.
The forward has 16 goals in La Liga this season and is now ranked first, along with Sporting Lisbon’s Bas Dost and Gabon’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Aubameyang was leading but his presence at the Africa Cup of Nations saw other players make up ground on him.
Suarez has 8 goals in his last 7 league games, while Dost has noted in five game runnings, with a double in three of them.
