The Uruguayan striker has not found the net since Barça's 3-0 win over Sevilla

This season he has scored 32 goals and created 19 more in 47 appearances

Barcelona cannot afford any more slip ups in La Liga if they want to beat Real Madrid to the title, starting with Osasuna at Camp Nou on Wednesday.

Luis Enrique, therefore, cannot rotate too much and in the absence of Neymar he will have to continue with Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi.

However, Suarez, who has had a good campaign, has seen the goals dry up in recent weeks. He has scored 32 goals and created 19 more in 47 games, but he has not scored since the 3-0 win over Sevilla.

That run has coincided with a key phase of the season, uncluding the Champions League quarter-finals, and he's now five games without a goal:

  • 08-04-2017 · Liga · Málaga - FC Barcelona · 2-0
  • 11-04-2017 · Champions · Juventus - FC Barcelona · 3-0
  • 15-04-2017 · Liga · FC Barcelona - Real Sociedad · 3-2
  • 19-04-2017 · Champions · FC Barcelona - Juventus · 0-0
  • 23-04-2017 · Liga · Real Madrid - FC Barcelona 2-3

During these five games, Suarez has supplied one assist: against Real Sociedad. In fact, it wasn't just him in the Champions League: Juventus managed to stop the MSN scoring across both legs.

In the league, it's been Leo Messi who's kept Barça in the hunt for the title. He scored twice in the recent 3-2 wins over Real Sociedad and Real Madrid.
