Suarez highlighted the importance of having Leo Messi
Barcelona forward Luis Suarez highlighted Lionel Messi's supreme quality after the 5-0 win over Real Betis.
"In every game Messi leaves a special touch. This was another game which Leo has been spectacular in," said Suarez. "People should feel priveleged to be able to watch the best player in the world.
"We are happy that we kept our good run going in the league. We're first and we have a good lead in the standfings. We have to be happy with our perfoermance tonight, it was a complete display.
"We are aware that teams in the early stages play with a lot of intensity, but we are still good physcially in the second half, we're strong and we're showing that we had a good preseason and are in good shape.
"We knew the importance of the game tonight to start the second half of the season well. The Copa del Rey is something else. It was an unfair defeat and we're going to try and turn things around on Thursday. Now we're going one game at a time. Now we're going to try and come back in the cup and then we will focus back on La Liga."
