Luis Suarez, last minute absentee from the training session

Lionel Messi was not the only big name absentee from Barcelona's training session on Tuesday afternoon. The Argentine was joined by Luis Suarez, who ddi not train with his team-mates ahead of the clash with Inter Milan on Wednesday.

The reason the Uruguayan did not appear at the Tito Vilanova pitch was because he had permission from coach Ernesto Valverde to be absent for personal reasons - he is about to become a father for the third time.

Barcelona trained without any big news otherwise, with Chumi and Inaki Pena from Barca B joining in.
