The former Ballon d'Or winner criticised Xavi's team and the youngsters too

Barcelona managed a draw in Germany against Eintracht Frankfurt. The game will be decided next week at Camp Nou.

However former Barcelona striker Luis Suarez Miramontes (not the Uruguayan) was critical of the club.

“Luckily Frankfurt are an average club because they could have put three or four past us,” he grumbled.

The only Spanish Ballon d’Or winner in football history said: “It was an inexplicable game, nothing went well and nobody reacted. On top of not running, they didn’t play and that is very serious.”

On the other hand he also criticised the youngsters. “It seems like they aren’t taking control, they need to take the initiative more.”

He also said of Ousmane Dembele: “Dembele did what Dembele does, he doesn’t know what he’s doing.”
