Luis Suarez draws level with Kubala as Barça's third top scorer
The Uruguayan has scored 194 goals for Barcelona since signing in 2014
Luis Suarez drew level as the third top goalscorer in Barcelona's history with his goal in Sunday's win over Villarreal, taking his tally to 194 in 276 games.
Suarez is now tied with Barça legend Ladislao Kubala, who played for the club between 1951 and 1961. The Uruguayan striker will now set his sight on second place, which is occupied by César Rodríguez with 230 goals. Lionel Messi is way out in front with 630.
Barça coach Quique Setien tried a different formation on Sunday, with Suarez and Griezmann playing up front and Messi just behind them. Both Suarez and Griezmann scored stunning goals, while Messi had one ruled out, but did set up two.
Since joining the club from Liverpool in 2014, Suarez has not stopped scoring. He has bagged 145 in La Liga, 23 in the Champions League, 19 in the Copa del Rey, one in the Spanish Super Cup, one in the European Super Cup and five in the Club World Cup.
