Luis Suarez doesn't travel to Alaves but can join up with Uruguay
The striker has recovered quicker than Barcelona expected
He could be ready for the World Cup qualifier vs. Argentina
Luis Suarez will not play for Barcelona on Saturday in the second league game of the season against Alaves.
The striker was rule out for a month with a knee problem he picked up in the second leg of the Spanish Super Cup against Real Madrid.
However, his evolution from the injury is going well and Barça have given him permission to join up with Uruguay during the international break.
Suarez hopes to be fit for his country's vital World Cup qualifier against Argentina on Sept. 1.
It also means he's likely to be available for the Catalan derby against Espanyol at Camp Nou later this month.
