Luis Enrique's curt response to the reduction of Real Madrid's transfer ban

The Barça boss didn't want to indulge journalists on the news of CAS' desicion

Barcelona manager Luis Enrique had time to talk about the CAS’ decision to reduce Real Madrid’s transfer ban when he spoke in a press conference to preview his side’s game against Hercules.

However, Luis Enrique wasn’t as surprised as Barça president Josep Maria Bartomeu had been when he learned of the news during his press conference earlier on Tuesday, which was to review the calendar year.

As is normal, though, Luis Enrique avoided giving a clear opinion on the subject.

“I’m still the same as I was before knowing this news,” he said. “It doesn’t make me happy or sad. I try to focus on the things that affect my team, everything else I don’t care about.

“It doesn’t matter what I think. I’m not thinking about offering my opinion on this subject, you can all think what you want.”

Remember that during Barcelona’s transfer ban Luis Enrique labelled it unfair, as did the club.

The Blaugrana served a two-window ban, whereas Madrid will not just serve one window and will be able to sign players in the summer.
