Luis Enrique replies to Bauza by refusing become involved in war of words
The coach didn't want to make a fuss out of the situation and said Messi's fitness is the priority
Luis Enrique has replied to Argentina coach Edgardo Bauza, although he didn’t become embroiled in a war of words.
Bauza had suggested Barça don’t care for Messi properly, although Barça coach Enrique says everyone has the player’s best interests as their main priority.
“The only reality of the situation is that everyone is looking for best for the player,” Luis Enrique said.
“Whenever a player is injured it’s bad news. That the best player in the world is injured is bad news for everyone, not just for Barcelona.
“Apart from that, I’m not going to get involved in these matters that muddy football [by giving a take on Bauza’s comments].”
