Luis Enrique one of 10 managers in the running to win 'FIFA The Best' prize

FIFA have revealed their shortlist and it features three managers from Spain's La Liga

Barcelona’s Luis Enrique has been named as one of the nominees for The Best FIFA Men’s Coach 2016.

There are 10 managers on the list and they have been shortlisted by experts from the FIFA Football Committee and the winner will be announced in January.

The prize replaces the one given out as part of the Ballon d’Or gala due to the split between France Football and FIFA. 

The winner will be decided in the following way: 50 percent based on votes from international captains and managers and the other 50 percent from the public and a group of more than 200 journalists. 

Also nominated from La Liga are Real Madrid’s Zinedine Zidane and Atletico Madrid’s Diego Simeone.
