Barcelona squad named for Sporting as Vidal misses out again
Luis Enrique has now left the right-back out for each game since the defeat to Alaves at Camp Nou
Barcelona manager Luis Enrique has revealed his squad for this weekend’s game at El Molinon against Sporting Gijon.
The biggest news is that Rafinha, who was not in the squad for the draw with Atletico Madrid, has returned.
Once again, Aleix Vidal has been discarded for the fourth match running along with third choice goalkeeper Jordi Masip.
The enforced absences are Lionel Messi and Samuel Umtiti, both of whom are currently sidelined with injuries.
The full squad is: Ter Stegen, Cillessen, Pique, Rakitic, Sergio, Denis, Arda, Iniesta, Suarez, Neymar Jr, Rafinha, Mascherano, Paco Alcacer, Jordi Alba, Digne, Sergi Roberto, André Gomes and Mathieu.
Barcelona travelled to Gijon on Friday night ahead of Saturday’s game, which will kick off at 16.15h CET.
