Lucho was asked if he will miss working with the Argentine star

He also reiterated his desire for Messi to end his career with Barça

Lionel Messi's exhibition at the Santiago Bernabeu is one of the last that Luis Enrique will experience as FC Barcelona coach. The Asturian, however, is not about nostalgia in these final days as the Blaugrana boss and prefers to look at the postives. "I'm not sad that I won't be training him, I prefer to look at the positive side: I've had him for three years and I have been able to enjoy him a lot in first person," he commented.

On Messi's contract renewal with Barça -- which is still not closed -- Luis Enrique assured that it's nothing to do with him, although he made it clear what his preference is. "I don't have any information in order to opine, but I've always said that I want him to end his career here. But only he can decide that," he added.

Luis Enrique didn't want to comment on Messi's unforgettable celebration after the win against Madrid, either. "He's the one who best explain it, but for me it was good," he said. In the final question of the press conference said celebration was even compared with Lucho's in a Clasico which took place 20 years ago. He was asked if his celebration back then had been provocative: "I'm not one to send messages, especially not to rivals."
