Luis Enrique avoids questions about Quique Sanchez Flores

The two managers reportedly have a strained relationship from the time they spent at Madrid

Luis Enrique dodged all questions in his press conference about his reportedly delicate relationship with Espanyol manager Quique Sanchez Flores.

The traditional photograph of the two managers to preview the derby will not take place this year, with the official reason being the Barcelona coach didn't have time.

However, Catalunya Radio claims they have a strained relationship from the two years they spent together when at Real Madrid.

Jorge Valdano was the Madrid manager at the time and it's suggested that there were problems in the dressing room and that some of the players accused Quique of being the manager's informant.

"I have no comment," Luis Enrique repeated when asked twice about his relationship with the Espanyol coach.

Asked for the reason the photograph session had been cancelled -- something which happens before every derby and which Luis Enrique has participated in before -- he then responded without mentioning it.

"What I hope is that [on sunday], which is more important than anything before the game, is that there will be a good atmosphere on the pitch and in the stadium, that's what's most important," he said.

"May both teams be at their best and may everything be played within the rules of football."
