Josep Maria Argimon, the Public Health Secretary, has confirmed that the match will take place in Barcelona

The match between Barça and Napoli can be played at the Camp Nou behind closed doors. Despite Napoli's president Aurelio De Laurentiis doing his best to force UEFA to change the venue due to the coronavirus cases in Barcelona.

The Govern de la Generalitat have already told UEFA the match should take place as normal. This is according to Health Secretary Josep Maria Arimón, who spoke to RAC1.

"It can be played as normal," defended Argimon. "The situation this week is better than last week," as he continued his belief a change of venue wasn't necessary.

Everything will follow UEFA's protocols

"The match can go ahead as it's behind closed doors and we're following UEFA's protocols, which are very strict. There will be a maximum of 350 people in the stadium," he claims.

Napoli's de Laurentiis claimed he would "unleash hell" if any of his players or staff contracted the disease whilst over in Spain.

This means it's full steam ahead for Barça vs Napoli, at the Camp Nou, on the 8th August.
