Jorge Sampaoli knows the importance of Leo Messi for Barcelona and the Argentina national team. Leo likes to play all games, and that wears him down. He has to be rested sometimes. The coach knows that and knows Barcelona's demanding calendar. Sampaoli therefore wants to take care of Messi.
The Argentine national team have two friendlies in Novmeber, one on No 11 against Russia at the Estadio Olimpico Luzhniki, where the first game and final of the World Cup will be, and then he will avoid a friendly against Nigeria in Russia on November 14.
