Lionel Messi lands in Rosario with his family for Christmas break

Leo Messi is now in Rosario for Christmas holidays, along with his family. The Barcelona star left immediately after the Catalan derby win over Espanyol, with exclusive Sport pictures of him at the airport here. 

Messi landed in the morning in Argentina, which was the afternoon in Barcelona, at the Islas Malvinas de Rosario airport, where various fans were waiting to ask him for an autograph. 

Messi arrived with his sons Thiago and Mateo, his nephews and his partner Antonella Roccuzzo. To avoid being totally mobbed, they left the airport straight from the landing strip in a car that picked them up, to start their Christmas holidays in a most discreet way.

However some of the more savvy fans and the airport employees still managed to get close to see their idol.
