Lionel Messi does not want to miss Argentina v Spain

Barcelona's Argentine forward Leo Messi trained with his country on Sunday ahead of the match against Spain on Tuesday. The forward could not do so on Saturday but returned to finish the weekend on a positive note.

He rested against Italy in Manchester and now is hoping to start against Spain at the Wanda Metropolitano in the second friendly as Argentina continue rehearsing for the World Cup. 

However there is some doubt over whether he will play from the off. Jorge Sampaoli won't want to run risks with Messi in a friendly.
