Lionel Messi dedicates a message to Xavi following his retirement
The Argentine posted a personal message to the former Barcelona captain
Leo Messi and Xavi were a lethal duo during FC Barcelona's golden period. The midfielder creator embodied Barça's style and alongside Leo, the two created some of the greatest memories in football history.
Xavi announced his retirement on Thursday and he's been flooded with tributes dedicated to the iconic midfielder. Barça themselves posted: "Part of Barça's history, a legend of football."
Messi is the latest to pay his respects to the best midfielder of all time. "It was a pleasure to share a dressing room with you, Xavi. We experienced a lot of moments together over many years, The truth is I've missed you since the day you decided to leave due to how you helped me on and off the pitch.
