Lionel Messi: 700 games, 613 goals and 240 assists
Barcelona's captain gave another lesson at the Camp Nou on Wednesday night
Barcelona reached the Champions League last 16 on Wednesday night and it was largely thanks to Lionel Messi.
The forward scored and created two as Barcelona beat Borussia Dortmund 3-1 at Camp Nou, with Luis Suarez and Antoine Griezmann benefitting.
In his 700th official game for Barca, he scoed his 613rd goal, and reached 240 assists.
"Messi is an extraordinary passer and an incredible finisher," said Ernesto Valverde.
Messi has also scored against 34 Champions League teams. The only sides he has not beaten that he has faced in the competition are Udinese, Benfica, Rubin Kazan, Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid.
On December 10 Barca face Inter, but, having already qualified top, Messi may not feature.
