The Lille forward is expected to leave the club in the next transfer window after the club's president admitted any good offer would be accepted

Lille might be forced to sell their star forward, Nicolas Pepe, in the next transfer window. The 23-year-old continues to set the French league alight and he's currently on 16 goals and 8 assists for this season. Those types of numbers have only increased the interest in Pepe from all across Europe.

The club is aware of the situation and the player appears open to a move away. The current director of football at Lille, Luis Campos, gave an interview to 'Telefoot' and admitted the decision whether or not to sell Pepe might be out of their hands.

"We aren't a rich club. So if a good offer comes in for Nicolas Pepe, we'd be forced to sell him," added Campos.

Pepe's current coach, Christophe Galtier, has given his opinion the player's future too. "He needs to go to a Champions League club. In my opinion, an intermediate club isn't necessary, he's already good enough for a high level side. I think he'd do well at a team which aspires to win everything and which has faith in its youngsters."
