The Lewandowskis, partying on Sant Joan like anyone else

The image is surprising because it never ceases to amaze that a world-class star of his stature would behave like any other citizen, but that's how it was. Robert Lewandowski and his wife Anna did not want to miss the atmosphere on the beaches in Barcelona on Friday 23rd June, his first Sant Joan festival as a Blaugrana footballer.

The Polish striker, who has already finished his national team commitments and therefore can enjoy his well-deserved holidays, started his days off in Barcelona and on Friday night he strolled along the beaches of Barcelona where thousands of Barcelona citizens and tourists gathered to celebrate such a special festival in all Mediterranean countries.

The couple have uploaded pictures to their Instagram accounts showing them posing on the sandy beach, like any other local couple, with the iconic and imposing image of the W 'Vela' hotel in the background.

He is not the only player in the Barça squad who enjoys living in and visiting the city centre and its emblematic places, for example, another is goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen. 

The La Liga and Spanish Super Cup winner and Pichichi, Lewandowski, like the rest of the squad, is on holiday until July 10, when he will begin pre-season training under Xavi Hernández before travelling to the United States.

Barça kick off La Liga on August 12-13 at Getafe and make their home debut at the Estadi Olímpìc de Montjuïc on August 19-20 against Cadiz.
