Lewandowski will force Bayern Munich exit with Barcelona waiting

The striker wants to leave the German club and hopes to move to Spain

Robert Lewandowski wants to bring his time at Bayern Munich to an end. The striker wants a new chapter in his career and has given the OK to signing for Barcelona. However, Bayern won't let him leave easily. He has a contract until 2023.

One of the reasons he wants to leave, per Bild, is Bayern's insistence on wanting Haaland. The Norway striker moved to Manchester City this week but his club's interest did not sit well with Lewandowski.

The Poland international does not feel valued at the German club and will press to leave this summer, although it will take a transfer fee.

Barça continue to press to complete the transfer as they look to strengthen their attack, which is a forward for coach Xavi and the club in general.

However, the delicate financial situation is holding them back from signing their targets.
