The team announced immediately following the draw that they wouldn't be giving up their fight to see Barcelona thrown out of the Copa del Rey
Not long after the draw for the quarter finals of the Copa del Rey had taken place, Levante announced they would be appealing the verdict made by RFEF this afternoon which dismissed their claim against Barça for allegedly fielding an ineligible player. Their appeal would be sent later on today.
Their official statement read as followed: "Levante want to inform you that, after the decision made by the judge regarding the case involving an ineligible player being used by FC Barcelona in the first leg of the Last 16 tie, Levante will this afternoon present their appeal to the RFEF's appeals committee to resolve this issue as quickly as possible."
