Levante inflict worst rout on Barca this season

Barcelona had not let in more than three goals in a game this season. But in 60 minutes against Levante, they shipped five. 

Emmanuel Boateng hit three and Bardhi netted the other two, as the Catalans lost 5-4 in Valencia.

The first big defeat Barca suffered this season was at home in the Spanish Super Cup, where they lost 3-1 against Real Madrid.

Then Roma hit that many goals against them to knock Barca out of the UCL, falling 3-0 in Rome.

VALVERDE'S RISK

The coach decided to play Yerry Mina in defence with Thomas Vermaelen. An untested centre-back partnership and one that hurt Barca. Pique eventually came on, but even that didn't help as Barca kept conceding.
