The midfielder hasn't started a game since March 10 vs. Galatasaray

Nico González is the new face in Xavi Hernandez's Barcelona XI for Sunday's game away at Levante in La Liga. Nico returns to the side one month after his last start, which came on March 10 against Galatasaray in the Europa League last 16 at Camp Nou.

Since then, Barça have played five games and Nico has played just six minutes. He was suspended against Osasuna, while he played just five minutes and one minute respectively against Real Madrid and Sevilla in LaLiga.

In the last two Europa League games, away at Galatasaray and Frankfurt, he spent the 90 minutes on the bench.

Nico will now have another chance in midfield for Barça on Sunday, lining up alongside Busquets and Frenkie de Jong, with Gavi and Pedri rested.

Elsewhere, Dani Alves returns to the side for the injured Gerard Pique, with Araujo moving inside alongside Eric Garcia, while Ousmane Dembele comes in for Adama Traore.
