The French media report that the Brazilian is set to commit his future to Paris

The Neymar saga could be coming to an end. According to L'Equipe, the Brazilian will sign a contract extension with Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday to keep him at the club until 2026. His current terms were due to expire in 2022.

If confirmed, the new terms will keep Neymar in Paris until he is 34 and is likely to bring an end, once and for all, to talk of him returning to Barça.

The Brazilian left Camp Nou for PSG in 2017 after four successful seasons in Catalonia when the French club paid his €222 million release clause.

Since then, it's been an open secret that Neymar regretted leaving Barça and he has tried to return to the club on several occasions.

The closes Barça came to bring the ex-Santos man back to the club was in 2019, but they ended up signing Antoine Griezmann in exchange for €120m instead.

Barça's delicate financial situation, which has been made worse by the coronavirus pandemic, made bringing Neymar back this year difficult, although the club are exploring ways to fund a 'top' signing.
